Best Natural Remedies for various Hair issues

Healthy hair Kise nahi Pasand? Everyone loves to have good and healthy hair. But uske liye log kya Nahi Karte hai, from buying so many products to spending thousands in the salon. But in the quest of having healthy hair, we all are just destroying our hair.

All these products available in the market, all the Youtube ads we encounter and decide to buy, these all are Marketing gimmicks. The products out there are full of harmful ingredients, which may feel good at the start but destroys our hair over the long run. This is true for salons: getting a spa, keratin, etc. seems like a great solution. But it isn't!. All of the treatments available out there are full of chemicals that I can assure are not at all beneficial for our hair.

Baal ho toh aise, warna zinda toh .....

Chalo let's look at some better alternatives that nature has given us, which work great, and that too with minimal or no side effects. If you want healthy hair for the long run, then this works best.

Onion Juice - for hair loss

This is the most prominent hair loss remedy. And it does work. Almost everyone who is concerned about hair loss must have come to know about this remedy. Chances are you must have tried already. And there can be two groups of people - those who got results, and those who haven't gotten results. Let's first understand how onion juice for hair works. And then we will figure out why people are not getting results ?!

Tip - Apply onions, but don't store them in your Dukaan!

Our Hair is made up of protein, sulfur, and keratin that makes our hair stronger and healthier. Sulfur is very essential for our hair regrowth. Onion juice is rich in sulfur which promotes collagen production and helps in the breakage and thinning of hair, by making the hair strands stronger. Onion juice has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that help in maintaining a clean and healthy scalp. It nourishes the hair and prevents hair fall. Onion juice also promotes scalp circulation which in turn provides blood flow to the hair follicles and promotes fast hair growth.

Onion juice is full of antioxidants and contains an antioxidant compound called catalase that helps reduce hydrogen peroxide at the root of the hair. Hydrogen peroxide is responsible for greying, so by reducing it, onion juice helps in preventing premature greying of hair. The antibacterial and antifungal properties of onion also help prevent dandruff, scalp itchiness, and scalp infection. Onion juice also nourishes dry and brittle hair and makes the hair shiny.

According to a study, research was performed on two groups. The group who used onion juice on the scalp had more hair growth than the group who didn't. It was even noted that hair growth in men was higher than in females.

How to apply -  Take an onion and chop it into pieces, blend it until it becomes a smooth paste, and filter it. Then using a cotton pad, apply it to the scalp and massage it for a few minutes. Let it sit for an hour, then wash it thoroughly with a mild shampoo. Do this twice to thrice a week for the best results.

But. Why aren't we getting results?
The mistake we make, because of which we are not getting results is impatience. Our hair goes through a cycle, and it takes time to recover. So using it once or twice and then judging it on the basis of that won't give any results. So, we need to consistently apply it for at least one month to see any noticeable difference.

Eggs - for overall nourishment

Mai door se hi sense kar paa raha- the disapproval on so many faces. Yes, starting mei it happens. Even the thought of applying eggs on the scalp seems so weird and disgusting. Right?. Vegans can move on to the next remedy. Bakiyo ke liye this is going to be the best remedy for all hair problems. Eggs are literally a boon for our hair, if we can overcome the smell phobia.

This egg proved its popularity !

Eggs are rich in protein, sulfur, biotin, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, phosphorus, and zinc which are all responsible for healthy hair. Eggs are very rich in protein- the building blocks of our hair. Eggs strengthen hair strands, help in preventing hair fall, and promote hair growth. Egg yolk contains a fat called lecithin which helps in moisturizing the hair and makes hair soft. Eggs also prevent split ends.
Applying eggs ensures thick and luscious locks.

The first question that arises in the mind is - should we use the whole egg or egg yolk only? Egg whites ( the part other than egg yolk) contain certain enzymes which help in removing excessive buildup on the hair and are being used as a cleanser. So, it's best for people with oily scalps to apply the whole egg to get multiple benefits and overall nourishment of hair. But people with dry scalps should use egg yolk only, or else it can dry out the scalp more.

How to apply - There can be multiple ways to apply eggs on the hair. But the best is to apply egg without mixing it with any other ingredient. You can add 3-4 drops of rosemary or lavender oil to mitigate the smell and for added benefits. Use the egg mask on the scalp and let it sit for 30 minutes, then wash with cold water and with mild shampoo and conditioner.
Use it once a week for the best results.
